For this craft, we used construction paper that we cut into small strips, then stapled them together to make circles. We glued them to a piece of cardstock in a pumpkin shape and then put it in a frame.

What a cute pumpkin craft!
Cute craft, but why not let children fill in their own shapes? They can make pumpkins but they can also choose yellow and brown to make candy corn or sunflowers. Encourage children to experiment and they'll have a lot more fun as they learn.
